Downtown Overview
Downtown Miami is the area East of I-95 and is bordered to the South by the Miami River, and to the North by the 395/McArthur Causeway. This area is known for its numerous entertainment options, high-rise luxury condos, office & commercial activity. Paramount Miami Worldcenter offers residents a complete live/work/play lifestyle. Future developments include a Waldorf Astoria branded condo building, major expansions to Paramount Miami Worldcenter, a double-deck signature bridge leading to South Beach and numerous office/residential buildings.
In all of Miami, the downtown area will experience the most rapid growth throughout the 2020’s. Large developers have purchased many of the vacant lots with plans to add dozens of office and residential buildings. The area is home to the Miami Heat arena, Frost Science Museum, banking and government offices. The Brightline runs North to Ft. Lauderdale and West Palm Beach with expansion plans to Orlando. The MetroMover offers a quick connection to Brickell.
